I have 6 sata ports or sockets on motherboard,all of them taken up.Thing is ive got 2 hard drives & 2 optical drives & only the 4 devices are listed in ide ata/atapi controllers in device manager.I couldnt see where they are all going when i was swopping the gpu,would it be normal practice for pcs builders to put spare cables in & maybe leave them tucked behind existing drives or am i missing something?
