I have put one of my friends onto the charms of PCS and want to configure a laptop for him on my PC and then send him a link to pick up the quote and order from it if he so wishes. How can I do this please.

Your best bet is when you've done configuring the PC, press proceed then find the post to forums button and press it, and then at the bottom of the page (which displays the configured spec in a copy and paste-able format) will be the link to that configured spec.
You won't be able to actually move your quote over to him since the quote is tied to your account, but the configurator link will allow him to save it as a quote on his account.
