Evening all.

I just set up my push/pull with 2 akasa vipers. It was a pain in the ass and I put the fans on all the wrong way around because I'm awesome like that.

Just a quick question though. My pc says my CPU fan is running at 4000rmp? Is that right or is my computer in imminent danger of exploding?

Awesome choice of fans dude!

What motherboard do you have?
What cable did you use?
What are you using to monitor the speeds?

Mobo. P8P67 deluxe
Cable. Akasa splitter that connects 2 fans and the cpu fan
And i'm using the on board ai suite to monitor the speeds.
The cpu fan was connected to cha fan 1. But when i left it like that after i'd set up the fans my pc wouldn't turn on at all. Once i connected the cpu fan to the cable splitter it all booted up fine.

Sounds about right my two vipers are connected up by akasa pwm cable, to the cpu-fan.

On the Asus suite mine says "CPu fan - 792rpm "
But "CPU fan OPT - 4000 rpm "
