Here is what to do in order to stop this annoying glitch, and to enjoy the game properly -
Go to your steam folder (in the hard drive the game is installed) in your hard drive, steam apps, common, find silent hill homecoming, open folder, go into folder named "bin" launch game from there. And make sure to run it a administrator!!! when in game menu, change the game to the settings u want. Exit game. Launch in your steam as normal and ENJOY!! (any changes in the setting will now also not cause any crashing)
