Thinking of buying this PC.

Okay so my PC is currently getting a bit dated, it's around 4 years old now, and I did buy it from PCS.

My Current Rig:

- Coolermaster CM Storm Sniper

- AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 2.80GHz

- Asus M487TD/USB3.0

- 4GB RAM

- 1GB Radeon HD 5770

- WD Caviar Green 500GB

Standard stock cooling.

This system I'm looking at buying:

That's a really nice proposed rig :) Very similar to the one that I have ordered.

From what I was told, the standard ram is not much different to the 1866MHz so it might be worth downgrading that. Also I went for the GTX 670 with an SLI motherboard.

The liquid cooling is not really crucial unless you plan to overclock in the future.

What's your budget and is it for gaming?

Yeah it will be for gaming, the main reason I've gone for water cooling is because I want to have a quiet system and though water cooling would help this.

As when I'm playing games on my current rig it gets real loud.

The difference between 1600MHz and 1866Mhz RAM is £3 lol.

Hi,
If you want to oc the CPU you could go with a pre-overclocked system from PCS, for gaming I'd suggest the i5-3570 + triple copper heatpipe CPU cooler, I have the fatboy and the noise becomes noticeable for me when I keep the fans at 50% or more fan speed.

I won't be overclocking, not a fan of it tbh.

So the i5-3570 instead of the i5-3750K?

Wouldn't the temperatures also run cooler with the FatBoy?

My one point (other than the advice already given) would be to go for the GTX670 instead of the GTX660ti. Trimming down the CPU to the 3570 means you can do that in the same price.

Since you're not OCing there's no real point in getting the Spire. Get Build 1 with triple copper heat pipe and it'll save you £20.

I'm kind of thinking about saving up until March 2013, see how much money I have and then work from there. If I can save £255 a month for the next four months then I'll have around £1000 maybe more, if I put my christmas money, birthday money, htc one x money and current PC money towards it.

In case you were wondering the games I currently have running are:

- GTA SA:MP
- League of Legends
- The War Z
- The Sims 3 + Most Expansion Packs
- Tropico 4
- CS:S
- Killingfloor
- Cities XL

Nothing all that high, but I want them all to perform a lot better then what they currently do, and also have games covered for the next 5 years if possible.

Any idea what sorta price range I'm looking at?
