Thoughts on 17" ionico 3060 Laptop?

Should be 115W+15W DB.
Ionico has no Max-Q variants, only Max-P (that's the motto of Tongfang, the ODM).
For instance the Elimina Pro (same manufacturer) with RTX 3060 has the TGP I told you above: 115+15.

I have the Ionico RTX 3070 and it's 125W + 15W DB as per NVIDIA spec of max performance for that part.
(via Control Center you can slide it down a bit if you want less noise, etc.)

Hi Cannot post the spec because I get this message:

Please note that the following products are not currently in stock and will delay your order. Please select an alternative product:

NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 3060 - 6.0GB GDDR6 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1 (ETA: 15-04-2021)
16GB Corsair 2933MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB) (ETA: 01-04-2021)

But I was thinking of a fairly base spec ionico 17" QHD 3060 16gb 2933 ram fast SSD probably 1tb depending on cost.

I would be wiling to spend upto 1500 but only if I need to. I don't need Windows, I'll be installing my own.

It is for Gaming (I'm not too serious but appreciate nice graphics)
Gaming on oculus quest wirelessly
Autocad Fusion (3D modelling but this does not use GPU) and Prusaslicer (can be CPU intensive when slicing multiple objects) - both of which can sometimes be quite heavy on a single GPU core (I'm not sure if its worth waiting for 11th gen Intel or a Ryzen 5000 as these have decently faster single core performance over this intel 10th gen chip...)

Also any 1tb reasonable fast SSD seems out of stock ATM??

For the RTX3070 I've made a couple of video reviews + benchmarks. check this forum's review section to find it out.
And consider the only regret I have in that video was the MUX wasn't enabled. Today I received the new BIOS from PCSpecialist. Couldn't be happier.
Check the video to know what it is, should you not know. ;)

PS: sure to go with RTX 3060? This baby has 2560x1440 165 hz screen. RTX 3070 is capable at filling it easily, but, well, don't know...

PPS: I'll do another video about the post BIOS update with newer benchmarks.

Haha co-incidentally I just watched your youtube video on the Ionico - looks like a very nice laptop, any other downsides (other than MUX switch issues?)

No, it's very capable it seems. That solved it's one of the best machines out there IMO.
Others don't have MUX or 1440p screen
This has both and some.
It has not Zen3 CPUs, but for gaming (check Jarrod's Tech) Intel is still dominant vs AMD (he tested same internals as mine).
