Thunderbolt Dock Compatible

I have a laptop around four years old. It's pretty basic but it serves my needs. The question I have though is that it won't fully connect to my Dell dock. It's Dell D6000. The dock works fine as is all good in my work laptop. On my PC Specialist laptop it recognises the USB devices i.e. the keyboard and mouse but doesn't extend the display to my monitors.

Does my laptop simply not support this? Or can I do something to make it compatible? I have updated the Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers. Image attached of my laptop.

Any help would be very welcome.

It doesn’t have a thunderbolt port, USB C and thunderbolt at that time were separate things.

So wouldn’t be compatible with a thunderbolt dock
