I noticed it last night, and no, not seen it anywhere before :)

Also, currently it is F2P on Steam

I am sure the GMG link is just a package that includes some of the stuff in the Steam packs (no doubt cheaper than Steam :) ), but at least you could try it on Steam for free before buying anything :)

Agh alright cool, ill try it on Steam first then, i still havent played future soldier yet. I keep thinking i have battlefield so its just a waste but its maybe a good game.

Had a go tonight. It's actually a pretty nice tac/shooter. But to me it suffers in the same way Tribes did (perhaps more looking at the setup) in that you seem to really need to spend money to get anywhere. There doesn't seem to be anything in the Store that doesn't need the real money bought currency which is a shame.

That, and we got whooped :)

Would dabble here and there as a free game, but it even has a sub based setup, 9.99 (euros i think that was) a month? This isn't an MMO, so I really dont get how they can charge that kind of money :)

But, at least there is the free version to give it a go and see what you think!

It's Ghost Recon Online; they decided to rebrand it because they have "changed so much since beta came out" and now they are releasing it as Phantoms now it's out of the beta. Not played it in a long time but it was good fun although some times frustrating when I last went on it.

Just tried this, yeah i can see how it would be tactical. However, It's played like most online shooters, some guy(s) camping behind something, sees a player, pops out bang, back in cover... Rinse and Repeat.
