Hi these are the two specs:

Chassis & Display
Inferno Series: 11.6" Matte HD LED Widescreen (1366x768)

Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) 6MB

Memory (RAM)
8GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (2 x 4GB)

Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M - 2.0GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX® 11

Memory - Hard Disk
500GB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (5,400rpm)

and the other which I was recommended in my last thread:

Optimus IV

15.6" Matte Full HD 16:9 Widescreen (1900x1080)

Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i5 Dual Core Mobile Processor i5-3210M (2.40GHz) 3MB

4GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (1 x 4GB)

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M - 2GB DDR5 Video RAM

Memory - Hard Disk
500GB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (5,400rpm)

I will be using it for mid range games and maybe a few higher range (most high end games I play on xbox!), and I will be using it for work at either uni or an apprenticeship. I will be also getting a hd monitor that I maybe connecting it through there, and I may upgrade a few things on both spec later on. I will need to make this least for 3 years or 6 years at the most.
Thanks :)

Interesting dilemma to have. : ) Obviously, the 11" form-factor Inferno doesn't have an optical drive, so you'd be limited either to digital media, or USB flash drives, or an external optical drive. The GTX 660M does have DDDR5 memory, which should have a moderate advantage over GT 650M DDR3 at higher resolutions. The Optimus IV also has an option for a 1080p screen.

I'd get the Optimus. : )

Thanks for help :) just thinking of the advantages of the i7 3610QM over the i5 3210M for what I am going to use it and how long I will use it for, can you advice me with this?

I'd also choose a Quad Core over an i5, but that's myself, and I do not know what work you'll be undertaking in University. : ) Any threaded, 3D render heavy, video/music transcoding or encoding work favours the i7-3610QM. Certain games also utilise Quad Core CPUs to their utmost potential, like ArmA 2 (DayZ), Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, Borderlands 2. : )

Well at university I will be taking either automotive, mechanical or materials engineering so I may be using it for CAD, plus I will most likely be playing a few of those games you have listed on it. so the quad core sounds like the one! Thank you for your help :)
