The email suggesting I post a review has been staring at me for a week or two (or is it more?) now....
This machine's an UltraNote 14" with IPS LED 1920x1080 display. I opted for the i5 option with 12GB RAM and a 1TB ATA HD. The second image has a ruler just about visible at the bottom of the screen to put it into scale.

Installing Debian 9.0 (stable aka stretch) amd64 was unremarkable. It did need some non-free firmware at one point, but this is quite common (at least compared to the installs I do at work). Other than that, no fuss at all. Everything I've tried so far works. This includes the sound system (plays music nicely), USB devices, SD cards (/dev/mmcblk*), bluetooth (headphones, mice) and webcam (duh, must remember to press fn-f10 to make it available!).
Received mid-September and generally going fine. The build quality seems solid. This is the second laptop I've bought from PC Specialist and I'll be happy to use them again.
