Upgrades on a notebook i brought in 2018?

Hello,
so i brought a gaming laptop from pcs back in 2018 and rn a lot of the games i play the fps just aint up to what it used to be, i'm thinking that its cause the gpu is quite old [gtx 1050ti] i was wondering if they did upgrades on the gpu at all?

To be honest, i don't think so
I'm pretty sure that the gpu is soldered to the motherboard, so, you can't upgrade it without changing everything ^^"

You can't upgrade laptop GPUs as they're part of the motherboard.

Generally all you can upgrade on a laptop is RAM and drives, the rest are soldered onto the motherboard.

You will need to set graphics options to apply to your hardware, you won't be able to run things on max.
