Firstly, not sure if this is the right part of the forum but...
I was wondering what the best way to take care of the laptop battery is. Specifically the one in Vortex II 15.6" laptops.
I have read that you should take the battery out if your going to be playing games or doing something demanding. But, when I do, even though speedfan says my temperatures are at like 80 degrees, when I physically touch the battery and the bit where the g-card and processor is, the battery feels significantly cooler. I have no actual data on how hot the battery actually is, but is the cooling of this laptop good enough to keep the battery in, in such cases? If it is not, if I get a laptop cooler, would it then be good enough cooling to keep the battery in?
The reason I am so concerned with this is, when I take the battery out, it actually gets rid of one of the rubber feet on the laptop, and every time I apply to much pressure on that corner with the palm of my hand (especially when I use WASD) I can hear a whirring noise, like I am bending the laptop into the fans.. I guess I should avoid this, and the best way to do it is keeping the battery in..
Also, if I turn the laptop fully off, is it ok to leave the power cable plugged in or should I unplug every time?
Thanks
