I pushed to get this forum opened due to my up coming build.

For any of you that are interested in giving water cooling a shot ill be posting up video's guides and other information on where to get started, the cost the benefits and the cons.

By all means throw out any questions you might have in the mean time.

Maintenance for a start, changing out the water every few months, Inspecting the blocks for Oxidisation, checking your connections for and future leeks.

The risk factor. Even using a none conductive solution, pouring it on your parts will never help. If your lucky it wont break them if you spring a leek.

Cost.. A full watercooling setup can cost anywhere from 300/400 minumum.

To list a few :p

Depends entirely on what you've got in your machine as to whether that temperature is ok :)

As a general rule of thumb, they do not do much better than the high end air coolers.

It also looks like your temps are well within threshold.

If you were looking to overclock there are some very basic single and dual rad setups that will keep her nice and cool.

Set CPU QFAN Control to ENabled, and either Turbo or Standard profile.

You can do teh same with Case fans too on most motherboards, whether or not they have a PWM connector as this is just for registering temps and helping it auto-adjust. The case-fans will be voltage regulated to slow them down and speed them up, basically like teh CPU cooler.

I dont understand why your cpu is at 40+ Celcius at idle with a titan on full tilt sounds like something is wrong to me because you cpu should be below 40 at idle and the titan should be very quiet until you start giving it some stick.

Case Air flow could be bad. heat of a GFX card in a bad flow case could cause this without to much trouble.

Well ive sorted my cpu fan issue, but my idle temps vary day to day. Im guessing its just the room temp because some days its idleing at 33-38 and right now its idleing at 44-50. When under full load temps go high as 62
