Will it work

I really should have checked you guys out first before placing my order. I just hope it's not to late to amend it.
This rig will primarily be used for photo editing using whatever the latest version of Photoshop and Lightroom are. I'll also want to play games like Assetto Corsa Evo, Starfield and any new and upcoming games.

My current monitor is a Dell U2413 which I am unwilling to get rid of because it calibrates perfectly and it's an IPS screen however, I am not adverse to purchasing a more contemporary screen for gaming. Any recommendations regarding a budget screen for gaming will be much appreciated.

I am hoping this will be a quiet build and I was somewhat underwhelmed by the range of component's available to select from. I am not adverse to changing bits around once the beast arrives to get a quiet capable machine. Will it work.

I'd suggest to cancel your order because the INTEL 14th gen is DOA, and even after years of microcode fixes, it's not a good/reliable choice. No one here would recommend it.

Your Dell monitor can be used for photo editing (even if the resolution is really low IMHO), but it's not suitable for gaming purposes because it will bottleneck any modern system (due to the low refresh rate). What is your maximum budget for a proper gaming monitor? What is your maximum budget for a PC?

Thank you for your responses, you've saved me from making a dreadful mistake. I guess that's what comes from blind loyalty to a brand. I shall get onto PCSpecialist first thing in the morning and see if anything can be done to retrieve the situation and hopefully ward off a possible disaster. I've been at the drawing board for a good part of the day and am now completely dazed and confused. I am trying to keep this spend to sub £2250 and am not to bothered about updating my monitor at the moment, 4K would be nice at some point in the future. For now I am going back to the simplicity of turning my compost and ruminating about which generation of Ryzen will give me what the 14th gen intel might have. Further guidance will be greatly appreciated.

To do that you'd have to get an old generation well below their best. Intel have been quite substantially behind for a good 5 years now, AMD are significantly ahead in efficiency, performance, thermals and power. Why would you limit yourself, just get the best AMD have to offer.

You can just cancel the order from your online account, no need to call PCS.

Once you're ready we can then suggest something more suitable.
