Is this wireless card any good? Is it worth it buying a killer gaming wireless card and upgrading it as ive just bought a review laptop and cant upgrade anything, thanks!

It's only 150Mbps. I wouldn't want anything less than 300Mbps. My own order I'm waiting on I opted for the AC card which is 800Mbps+. The killer gaming wireless cards are made by Qualcomm / Atheros, though they're rebranded by various manufacturers. Atheros cards are very good cards. Particularly when it comes to drivers. They've long been supported under Linux from the madwifi days and by the ath5k and current ath9k drivers, if that's something you are thinking about.

Ive just bought the vortex gt in the reviews, i have no hope when it comes to opening laptops etc to fit it myself, does any card fit or does it depend on the chassis? Thanks for the reply

Wifi cards are standard across chassis. They just plugin very simply.

Alright thanks alot! Ill probably buy one from pcs! Im sure there are videos online that can help me fit it! If not, im sure the forums here are happy to help, they always are!
