I've just bought a new rig from PC Specialist (Arrived yesterday)
I use my rig for DJ'ing, but I'm having an issue with my Xonar card.
I have set Pioneer Rekordbox to use Channels 1&2 (Front) as the Master (Main Speakers), and Channels 3&4 (Rear) as my Cue (Headphones) as per Pioneer's recommendation, but I can always hear the rear (cue) output on Channel 1&2 at about 25% volume!
Is this a settings thing?
A Xonar issue (ie. mixes channels and you can't turn it off)?,
or a knackered card?
I should not be hearing anything playing on cue through channels 1&2 as the software only plays the cueing track through 3&4!
It wasn't an issue with the Realtek onboard sound on my old PC, I bought the Xonar because of the better sound quality.
I could always use the Realtek onboard audio when I'm DJ'ing, but that would defeat 50% of the reason for having the Xonar!
Any help would be appreciated.
I've had to dip out of doing a live event tonight because of this!
Thanks
