What do I need to allow my pc to connect to my wifi without a router or a cable plugged into the pc?

Assuming you have a wireless router you will need one of the wireless cards,
PCI or PCI E.

You need a wireless router to create a wi-fi network so you'll already have one, you just need to add a wireless PCI (or PCI-E, no difference) card. Here's an updated build which includes the card to connect to the internet:

This I think, it is a little above budget but will probably be worth it!!! If you could pay a little extra, I would reccommend a better hdd but that isn't that important!

Oh right, looks like someone posted whilst I was typing!!! The difference between these two is the mobos, basically the one I chose will be a little better than Pheonix's and does include SATA 3 and USB 3

It's now between this or musicguys this has a slightly worse gpu but a better case which enhances possibilitys of upgrading in the future?

Hmm, well the Coolermaster Elite 310 case will be fine for future upgrades just as long as you're not wanting multiple graphics cards or a dual-GPU (like a Radeon HD6990 or a GTX590) but if you really prefer the Maelstrom T900 case then go for it, the case is the only part of the computer you're going to see on a daily basis so you should really pick something that you like the look of. If you do want go for the build you posted make sure you get the silver warranty though.

Prices from suppliers can change either up or down and PCS's prices reflect this.
I suspect that hard drive prices are still rising and thats the difference.

Yeh it's the caviar green hard drive that's gone up so I changed it and it's back down now!
