Mouse advice + HDD advice?

Just wanting to upgrade a couple things of mine, so was wondering if you could pass on some advice

I'm looking to get a second hard drive, and would like a nice big solid fast reliable hard drive.

Would this one be optimal? http://www.google.co.uk/products/ca...a=X&ei=icoLUIW3Bcqb0QXY_8y4Cg&ved=0CGEQ8wIwAA
I know it's regarded highly on PCspecialist but are there better ones out there?

Also, I'm looking to get a mouse to replace my basic 3 button one that I've had for years. A gaming mouse in particular. I play a lot of WoW and will no doubt try other MMOs, so I'm looking at the Razer Naga as it's by far the best mouse for MMOs - but I also play quite a few non-MMO games. Does anyone know if it is any good for these? Or does the 12 button grid just get confusing and weird in games that would put main macros like shooting etc, on those buttons.

cheers

Thanks for that.

With regards to the hard drive - is it easy to install? Will I need any extra cables? (I assume it just clicks into the bay and the ports just fit together but never done it before so just checking)

thanks again

It is pretty straight forward, you just need to connect the power cable and a sata cable to the HDD. I assume you should have some spare power cables and if you buy a new hard drive it should come with a sata cable.

Google Products' summary of the reviews for it is "For the price a sata cable would have been nice" so I don't know if the one from Amazon includes a cable or not.

And sorry for being a derp, but what power cable?

What HDD are you buying? One cable goes to the PSU and another one goes to the motherboard (sata cable).

If you have a non modular PSU you should have spare power cables inside the PC which are permanently attached to the PSU,these should be pretty obvious when installing the drive. If you have a modular PSU you need to install a power cable, there may be spare power cables supplied with a modular PSU.
A modular power supply unit, , is a type of PSU, with cables attached by removable power connectors instead of permanently fitted as in non modular.

The Caviar Black I linked in the first post.

Ah, that explains it. I've never been inside my PC lol

I don't know whether it's modular or not as it's just the standard non-branded 450w one from the PCS builder so can't check for the psu online - I don't have time to look at it in the PC at the moment but when i get home later I will.

I assume this cable will be fine to order, if the hdd doesn't come with a sata cable: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SATA-LOCKIN...1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1343067375&sr=1-3

Sorry for being a noob ;)

In that case :) It's non modular, you should have spare power cables available. The data cable you linked to should be fine.
