First time pc £1000 budget used for gaming

Hi everyone.

I am Creating a PC used for Pretty much Just gaming but I need it to be 'Fast' aswell.

These are my specs.

CASE) Coolermaster HAF-X Gaming Case.

CPU) i5 4670 (I Do not intend to OC.)

MB) ASUS® Z87M-PLUS.

RAM) 8GB HYPERX BEAST 2400MHz.

GPU) (I Am Purchasing the ASUS GTX 770 separate.)

HDD) 1TB WD BLACK.

PSU) CORSAIR 750W.

COOLING) TRIPLE HEATPIPE COOLER.

WIRELESS CARD) Dual band wireless 450 mbs (N Access through Ethernet available.)

OS) WIN 7 HOME PREMIUM 64 BIT.

HDMI) (Purchasing one now for when I purchase the Monitor.)

KEYBOARD+MOUSE) Cyborg v5 keyboard ROCCAT Savu midsize mouse.

Surge protector and 1 cable tidy and silver warranty.

It all comes to £983.28 Including a surcharge for paying with credit card.

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts about this PC will it perform well and any improvements that could be made

really appreciate it thanks.

A better motherboard, 1600mhz is fine you won't notice a difference with anything higher and a pair of homeplugs rather than a wireless card.

i have picked the 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X 1600
and ASUS® MAXIMUS VI HERO

Is there anything else you recommend ?

I would get the z87-a instead, the one you originally selected was a micro-atx board with less expansion slots. The Maximus and z87-a are both fine and should offer the same performance gaming wise. Go with the cheapest one :) are you planning to SLI? What's your budget for the gpu? (Assuming you haven't bought it yet)

That's great! Enjoy your build and if you are going for standard delivery time please be patient :) it could take a few weeks for delivery. PCS won't run away with your money :) not sure if fast track is available now.
