What keyboard should I get? (Typing/Gaming)

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new keyboard. It must be good for typing and good for gaming (some FPS, ARPG, Indie games)

I currently own a logitech G110, and I really -really- dislike it - keys are too close together and I can't say I like the feel of it (which is a robber dome)...

I know very little about MX Switches but from what I've gathered, blue's have a tactile switch which are good for both gaming and typing? Which sound ideal but I really don't know...

What are some good mechanical keyboards? Macro keys and lightning not essential but a bonus, don't need an LCD screen :).
Budget at most £80, but willing to spend bit more if worth it. I was looking at the Razer blackwidow expert? What you guys think?

Also I don't mind having/not-having macros LED, but they are a bonus (especially LED)

Thanks in advance!

I'd go for either blues or reds :)

reds are very light, but pretty noisy. Blues like you say have the tactile bump and click when the key press is registered. Reds are linear and do not have this bump/click. The reds click because the user tends to fully depress the key.

For brands, i'd suggest looking at the CM storm kb's. I have the quickfire TK, its pretty small but still awesome. I'd have a look at the trigger Z though, that looks the sauce.

Awesome, I'm really considering the Blackwidow! Do you have the ultimate then? Are they really as loud as people make them out to be?

Cherry mx blue's are VERY loud, I mean imagine typing on a typewriter. Its comparable to that. I keep meaning to bring it into work to irritate my colleagues but I never have. I like my ultimate, but I have to admit its very expensive for what it is.

Thanks dude! I'm going to try and test out the red and blue switches before committing. I'm not in a rush, and don't want to end up disappointed again! :sorcerer:

So I've heard. The noise wouldn't bother me but I do live with my girlfriend so I am a little concerned that the noise will annoy her... Do you know if the Reds are any quieter? If not I could look into the ultimate Stealth?

I have a Razer Blackwidow 2013 (not the untimate) and I think it is great. The key presses are very clackity-clackity-loud, but you do get used to them, however when on a Skype call or similar it can be noisy for the others on the call (I often get accused of 'angry typing' when using the keyboard on work conf calls!). That said, I find the keyboard comfortable to use for extended periods, the key press feedback (including the click!) to be very positive, and the associated functionality (macros, key disabling, et.c) to be perfect for my gaming needs.

Thanks for your input. I think that would be my choice, but I don't want to **** of my girlfriend :D. So I might look into the stealth edition which from what I gathered is has MX brown switch!
