Advice on my General Use / Gaming PC

Hey! I've created a PC build, and was hoping if someone could give some advice on this and see if it is suitable?

I basically want a PC for general use browsing, Programming, and some gaming too. I'm not crazy into gaming so don't need super graphics cards or anything, but would like one that is pretty future proof if I get into gaming more in the future. The Build says a 1050Ti but I initially chose a NVIDIA RTX 2060 but they don't have any currently, but anyway was thinking that 2060 should be good.

Also wanted a really nice CPU, because this has bottlenecked me in the past a lot as I currently have an i5 which is not good for me. So hoping the CPU I chose is good.

Also budget I can spend is probably £1400 - 1500 tops

Thanks

Hmm, that's interesting thanks, never knew Intel was lagging behind. Might have to check out the AMD's then!

Could someone recommend me an AMD based Build in that case as I will definitely go with an AMD now
Ok what monitor you hooking up to resolution & refresh rate or make and model, think you've covered all the other info in your post

Thanks for the build(y) That 2nd SSD Drive is just for some extra storage right? I could maybe take it off to save some $ ?

The idea behind that is the faster one is used for the OS, then the second one is used for storing games etc on, so if you ever need to reinstall the OS, you wont have to download all your games again

Not quite, the logic is to have the smaller and faster of the two M.2s as your boot drive. The OS, programs and apps on there. The second one is for fast storage, you’ll have ridiculously fast load times on games and your programming work.

The added bonus of a setup such as this is that if your system is ever compromised and you need to do a complete reinstall of Windows all your stuff remains safe!

@Martinr36 types faster than me 😜

Gotcha, that sounds pretty sweet actually, will definitely go with that!
