So, I got my PC today and was pretty disappointed to find it not power on at all. I tried the switch both ways, three different kettle leads, and four different plug sockets in my home to pretty much rule out any dumb issues like that.
Upon calling Pcspecialist and explaining this, I was met with "Try reseating your GPU/RAM" I have done both, and even so, I am not entirely sure what that would have to do with no power whatsoever. You'd just get the usual bleepdybleeps of "something is wrong" if those were dislodged, but it would still actually light up/fan noise etc.
So either, I think board is dead or PSU is somehow fried despite their supposed "14 hours of testing". I'm not trying to be a douche here, but the guy on tech support really did not sound interested in trying to help me and suggested a friend take a look at it, or I file an RMA.
So, is there anything else I can try? I even checked to see if the wires were loose on the front panel in case that was causing the power to not go on.
