Was wondering if you guys could help me, please? I’m after a new gaming PC and, though I’m somewhat literate when it comes to computers, keeping up to date and sifting through parts and checking compatibility of components gives me the fear big time.
My current PC is the PCSpecialist Vortex Venom II from 2015 (i5-4460, ASUS H110M-D, GTX 960), which is still working great, but it is starting to show its age in places. I’ve only upgraded the RAM as I haven’t felt confident to do anything else.
Ideally I'd like the new PC to be as future-proofed as possible. I only really play World of Warcraft, but I’m also wanting to start using Steam for other more demanding titles. I do also use Photoshop and store a lot of media locally so I opted for the mechanical 2TB HDD as well.
This is what I came up with while trying to pair against the monitor. I'd like to go with a 3070, but as they're out of stock at the moment, so for the purposes of posting, I added the 3070 Ti:
Budget: £1,750 starting, but willing to go a couple hundred more for future-proofing.
