Need to purchase a new PC as current once has broke.

Budget: £1700-1800

Use: For casual gaming, and for general use

Monitor: I need to buy a good monitor for the PC, so if possible id like a recommendation for this build. Can spend around £200 separate for this

Made the build below, would appreciate a review on this as I'm not too knowledgeable on PC parts, and preferably would like a long lasting PC as I'm not that confident with changing parts frequently.

I think you can get an awesome 1440p gaming setup. Unfortunately £200 isn't enough to buy a good 1440p display. The cheapest I'd go for is £275 (the AOC Q27G2U that I'm using right now), while I'd prefer the £305 Gigabyte G27Q.

Then a system like this would be ideal. (If you can transfer the Windows licence over, that would give you a little more to spend on a case or graphics card.)

Yes will be going for a 1440p setup, so thanks for the monitor recommendations - i'l look into both

I think I will stick with that CPU, as price diff isnt so much between them. And wasnt aware of that graphics card, but will opt for that if it performs better

Yes, it's a really good graphics card. It's a couple of years old now, but because it has more VRAM it's aging better than the 3060 Ti. So historically it was comparable, but increasingly, as games demand more, it's coping better.

Just seen earlier comment too about possibly upgrading that graphics card. Do you think that is worth to do that - or is that one sufficient? is there a nicer option for a little more, as I can still push a bit further towards 1800

The 6750 XT is a little better for a little more money. I was aiming for your budget or I would have chosen it!
