Future proofing - 1440p gaming

Afternoon all,
Last year I bought an AMD 7600 CPU with a RTX-4070 super with 32gb RAM through PC Specialist and honestly love it. However, I am more and more gaming on PC these days over Xbox so looking to upgrade and future proof a bit more.
I am happy with 1440p on a 27" monitor and not looking to change my monitor to a larger screen - although may upgrade from 165hz to 240hz at some point.
With this in mind, I would appreciate any feedback about the below spec before I pull the trigger and the credit card takes a hit.
Any advice on ways to improve or anywhere I may have over spec'd and can save a few ££££.

It will be used primarily for gaming and other normal PC related stuff but no streaming or dev work.

Honestly, that is an option of course but I have never actually built a PC and my current rig only has a 650w psu, so that would need changing to.
Plus I could sell my current rig to offset the cost. but it is a fair shout.

Ah yes...factoring in a PSU and the strip-down that would require does make it a bit more daunting.

If you could include the rest of the config (all the way down to the config link & price at the bottom), I'm sure we can tweak it a little to avoid that sort of issue for the next 5-10 years.

Do PCS not do a PSU upgrade as an option?

I don’t know as I’ve never bought a desktop from them

Think this is everything?
This build costs roughly £2500; is this your maximum budget?

In the meantime, here's my suggestion for your 1440p high-end gaming system; I believe you do not need another OS license because you will transfer your current one to the new PC. :)

Thank you for your suggested build, really appreciate you taking the time.
For budget, I do have flexibility but obviously less is always better. I do have a Win11 licence already so if the builder can use that, then great.
May I ask though, why the 1200w psu? I understand that higher end gpu's require more power but from the research I have done, I am unlikely to go down the 4k route and therefore power requirements is not as high. Is the logic to future proof for upgrade cards in the years to come or is there another advantage to having a 1200w when roughly 750-850w should be enough?
For the motherboard, I get the X870E is a better board with more features than the B850 but from what I could determine, the X870E is advantageous if creating content, screen capturing or streaming. As I wont be doing any of that (I'm a 55 year old gamer only), does the higher end board have advantages over the B850 for gaming focus builds?
Sorry for the questions but I am a curious soul at my core
