You can use the saving to get your fire suppression system fitted...
I'd go with a FiFi Fire Fighting system like I have on board; it could be more suitable... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

This may well change depending on availability and resulting prices, but certainly as it stands, just don’t see any use case for the 5060

Genuinely wouldn't have one personally, I wouldn't recommend for anyone to touch them other than absolute desperation with no other option. The 3050 was the same vain for me.

To me thats what this series are, the gap between the 5090 and the 5080 is fully intended to be rediculous. The 5080 should be bridging that gap and the current 5080 should actually be the 5070 and so on down the stack, the VRAM allocation per card below the 5090 fits that also, 1080p should be very minimum 12gb but 16gb being comfortable

This 5060 should actually be a 5050, that would be justified as a get in the door card

The 5090 is the only decent offering at the moment IMO. The price is absolutely disgusting though. I will accept that the 5090 is fair bit above where the 5080 should be, but it should be far closer than 16GB in the vRAM stakes. I think it's been cut down far too much on power as well. If the 5080 was the 5070ti and the 5080 was a 20-24GB offering with a bit more Cuda in place then it would be a win for Nvidia.

Can see through Nvidia like glass though. The Ti or Super is going to bridge that gap for a pretty penny. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we saw both options coming in as between the 5080 and 5090 I think you could fit 2 card levels.

They're printing money. I'm gutted that AMD are out of that market as competition is sorely needed.

5080 should have been 24Gb, the fact there were retail boxes in the wild stating 24Gb for the 5080 tells me they cut it right down right before release and it was initially intended to be 24Gb.

Then 16Gb for the 5070 and 20Gb for the 5070ti, and 12Gb for the 5060 and 16Gb for the 5060ti
That would have made far more sense.

AMD mimicking the RAM situation after having been so outspoken about the unfair limitations up until very recently (certainly they mentioned before that 8Gb wasn't enough at the low end), is just adding salt to the wound. I do wonder how much they work together in that regard, Lisa and Jensen both dressed in snake skin over a golden goblet of blood, I can see it now.

I do still love Lisa though. I get the impression (totally unfounded) that she completely focussed on CPU's until they were up to scratch and only shifted focus to GPU's with her huge developer hiring focus on the GPU driver side back in the 6000 series. I kind of feel like this gen in how much they've gained in RT and frame gen and overall stability is a mark of her shifted focus.

This like I say is all totally unfounded other than the dreams I have about her most nights.
