couldnt get the game to load.... then noticed that origin didnt do automatic updates >.> or maybe it hates me.... but after clicking on the update button there was another 3GB to download -.-
tbh, after playing it for an hour, i really dont think its that great at all, the game seems very unbalanced and you seem to die in like 2 bullets of any assault rifle/submachine gun/ light machine gun and the closest thing to a sniper takes over 3 half the time and even though i jump behind a wall, 2 seconds later, i get 1 bullet and i die from the other side of the wall
its also very buggy, i keep getting a yellow flash of the whole screen half the time when i turn and the lighting keeps flickering even though im outside
and im still personally against the ranking system and i believe that unless you play the game a lot, the cod prestige system is more balanced
the graphics on xbox though are pretty good, hopefully tomorrow there wont be level 30s!!!! and loads of level 1s who are new to the game completely

its pretty buggy on PC too. There some quite a few holes you can fall into and get stuck. Sometimes when im prone my body goes underground too, mostly in the first ourdoor section. I would expect those kinds of things when playing a beta though. I also got the yellow flash from time to time.
I dont see the difference in ranks to prestige in COD. As you get more XP u unlock new weapons. Same for both games. The important thing is that the new unlocks aren't better, just different.
Recon unlock much more powerful bolt action sniper rifles as you gain XP. But DICE seem pretty keen to nerf sniping which I love. If you've ever played MOH online you have probably seen how bad a game can get when everyone snipes.
If ur dieing a lot from people with more XP then I recon its probably because they have gotten good at the game, not because the damage from guns is too high. Maybe they should decrease the damage though and then have a hardcore mode like COD. I prefer hardcore moades in multi player, its not any harder as its the same for everyone and I hate it when i shoot someone and they walk off.

There's definitely some overpowering issues from what I've seen on YouTube. One guy I regularly watch (d0n7bl1nk) posted himself no scoping with the SV98 using a laser sight. It was a one hit kill if he connected with the sniper, which is made ridiculously easy with the laser sight.

If you have a code then click on the gear icon at the top right in Origin and enter your code there. The game will appear in 'my games'.

See, I am the opposite, which is why I loved and ow3d the Halo games (When I had a console that actually worked) because you can get down and dirty and personal.

I liked COD but for different reasons. BF3 certainly makes u take cover far more if u dont want to die every 5 seconds. COD was good for a very fast paced fps though.

Even though Halo and BF3 r the same genre they definitly attract different players. I dont find getting shot from no where anoying, I find it almost invigorating to think about what angle it came from, where they could be, and track them down. I love ArmA games too which is pretty much the oposite of Halo. Its not that ur crap at FPS's, u just like them for different reasons.

I like realism in a FPS game, its not realistic if some one is running and gunning! that's not how wars/battles are fought!

Public beta doesnt seem to be open yet. Its not on origin yet anyway. Not sure about xbox and ps3 though.
No browser opens, the status in origin says playing, but only have origin no browser opens any help?
