Yeah i am in certain bits tbh, i get large flashes of colours (mainly yellow) quite a bit while on caspian, but no problems on metro.

I give up with beta...I know its a beta and they want us to test the servers, but they are so laggy for me, its impossible to play. and my internet is not even slow.
it worked great on the early access beta, but as soon as the open beta was on, from then completely pointless.

If everyone gives up then they wont have anyone lol. The reason for the fully open caspian border this weekend is to once and for all sort out the server side issues with large scale maps. Obviously maps like metro have been fine but large maps with lots of servers running are having problems. Unless we stay and put up with the lag and play while they collect data and fix, theyd have no data to work off and would have to guess at fixes which may or may not fix problems by release.

Well i am really pleased they opened up the caspian border map for all as i can now happily say this seems much more the battlefield game i want to play and just try and find a server with a low ping in the 20odd-30odd range they are mostly ok tiny bits of lag every now and again but perfect most of the time.

Sorry Frenchy the "nopt" must have sent me crosseyed and i missed the "but"
lol, well i just played my first non laggy match on caspian, OMG so good lol, although need my joystick for flying, flying with mouse is pants lol. I think the flying has been simplified too much though. Needs to be harder like BF2, hovering helicopters into bay of the aircrasft carrier was fun, on this i imagine it would be very simple.

Tbh i always use the mouse for flying on battlefield games as i find the joysticks just don't work right for me, the turbo/sprint on the vehicles are great it actually means the tanks can go up a slight incline unlike BF2/BC2 where they refuse unless it's completely flat and smooth or downhill.

I cant take more than about 3 steps without it being laggy normally, and laggy beyond the point of playable, but as someone who cares what the game will be like and understanding the fact I downloaded because I want to help with the improvement through beta testing, not just playing a demo, I understand that I may have to put up with crap liek this but in the end itll be worth it.

Yeah lol, very annoying, although today had 3 matches with no lag at all.
@Wozza Youll need more data just because its transferring all the dynamic destruction int he m,ap aswell as positions of people etc.
Also you wont be lagging because your not playing caspian, metro gets pretty much 0 lag on pc.
