OK, finally support got back to me on Jan 26th. Even though the answer is not clear, it seems that the power brick alone doesn't deliver enough power for the GPU during gaming. Before I bought this one I knew that some laptops with small and light power bricks have this drawback. But I didn't...

I sent the support on January 4th, almost a week ago and I am not getting any response. :cautious:

I don't have one now. Perhaps I will buy one and test, but I will wait for support first.

Thank you for pointing to this. Yes I did power down the device completely before taking out the battery the first time and I noticed the performance hit. To check if the battery was the cause I plugged the battery while sleep during a game, but the problem was before this experiment.

I don't remember having a choice. I checked the brick now, it has 19.5v 9.23a, so roughly 180w. When I chose upgrade now I am only offered the 180w option which I already have. Perhaps the charger is malfunctioning.

@andjef796 @Martinr36 Thank you very much for helping me with this issue. I opened the laptop again and nothing looked out of ordinary. So I kept it open upside down and connected external monitor and keyboard/mouse, turned it on and noticed the weird limit of power and clock speed of the GPU...

Thank you for your answer. Yes, it was the swollen battery. I will check again but I don't recall anything like that happening.

Unfortunately PCSpecialist doesn't deliver to Turkey. I am OK with using the lap temporarily without a battery but I noticed a huge performance issue that I decided to make in a separate post. Thanks for advance.

Hi, I noticed that my battery got swollen too much, it did this to my trackpad. Also the backcover is hard to put in place because of this. What might have caused this? I am outside of the UK, can I get compatible batteries elsewhere? Thank you very much for advance.
