Here:
As you can see there's nothing else storage related that is connected other than the new drive and the USB.
I also tried without the USB connected and I got the error:
"Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed"
I also tried both slots for the NVMe, and got the same result.
And then I...
Uh, that is strange then.
My motherboard has 2 slots for NVMe SSDs, I only have the 4tb one connected.
And I also only have the USB from Media Creation Tool plugged in, no network to somehow try to boot of network or anything.
I'll try to record a video showing what I'm doing, to see if it's...
I don't have an option to do anything.
I remove the old drive (the one that has Windows running, and that I used to create the Windows Media Creation Tool)
Connect the new one
Plug USB
Boot of USB

Got the same problem with Media Creation Tool with this SSD.
Just tried on a different device and I can see the "Select Language" screen with this SSD.
The motherboard on this device says "Storage Slot: One M.2 2280 PCIe® 3.0 x2 slot"
Where is that information? I tried to check it, but couldn't find it.
Ventoy

Computer boots, I see ventoy, I select Windows ISO, I see Windows loading screen with...
Hey there!
I just bought a new NVMe drive to replace the one in my laptop, however when I try to install Windows on this drive (I've removed the older drive) I get a BSOD saying: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
The SSD that I purchased was: Acer Predator GM7 4TB.
I'm not sure how can I get the...
If by "when you last serviced it" means last time I cleaned it, was no longer than a week ago. And these noises started before that, and are still present today (for example right now)
Full Specs:
Hello!
I have a Defiance Series: 15.6 (September 2020) and recently I've been hearing some weird noise from the fans.
Here's a video:
This sound starts every once in a while, and after some time it randomly stops. It doesn't matter the fan speed (in the video it started on Maximum, and then...
I might chose the wrong option, the best one would be PCxxDC / DD2 / DF1 / DN2 Series but its still the same, no Windows 11 version and a bit more updated:
Might be out of luck, those versions are still for W10, but they are slightly more updated than the ones provided on PCS download center
My model is: PC50DD2
And the best option I could find was PCxxDC-D / DD2 / DF1-D / DN2-D Series
I purchased my laptop almost 2 years ago, Defiance Series: 15.6" Matte.
And I just installed Windows 11 on this machine.
I went to check if there were drivers (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/download-drivers/) for Windows 11, but the list is empty, they are available for Windows 10.
I already...
Thank you so very much for checking it, and I'm sorry I didn't say anything yesterday, I barely had time to do anything.
Yep got an update for "Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers", and a few other things (Bluetooth, Wireless, Memory and Storage Tool). I'll update them and give it another...
Do you need to download the complete installer to keep the drivers updated?
Because I've been keeping the drivers updated whenever I see that GeForce Experience lets me know that there is an update, which I had one not too long ago.
