Hi All,
I've been reading through other posts and it seems like AMD is the way to go. Is there anything I should change on the spec below?
Case
CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core CPU (4.2GHz-5.0GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5)
Motherboard...
Brilliant. Feels like I’m getting there now! I like the ultra wide monitor so that’s something to think about. In terms of spec, the only other game I play is American Truck Sim - I assume I’d have no issue with that based on the above
Thanks for that Scott.
Not interested in triples but may look at a widescreen monitor at some point. I’m used to gaming at 60fps so don’t mind capping at that. Am I right in thinking a 1440p monitor is less intensive than a 1080p?
I’m such an amateur that I didn’t know the screen would cause an issue. I just thought the more screens you had the bigger the performance hit. If you could find me something with a monitor then great - I don’t mind if it’s only 1080p either.
Cheers
Hi all.
I am a complete novice with PC building and I currently use a very basic laptop and GeForce now ultimate (RTX4080) for my gaming fix. I really want my own pc to run predominantly iRacing on a single screen at 1080p or 1440p with maxed out graphics settings. Can anyone suggest a build...
