This is actually happening! Ordered at 22:42, so they must be nearly done with the orders from the 17th.

And here I was thinking about manually copying... But if there's a reliable software that can just do it in the background for me, then I'll just set it up and not worry any more.
I think you may be right, I have seen people posting in the other RTX 3080 thread that they got their orders from around 14:40 and 17:30 just within a few days, so there must be much fewer orders than there was from 14:00 to 14:30. Hopefully mine from 22:42 is due soon too.
This is so totally different to the RTX stock... It's been nearly 2 months and the orders from the launch day are still not all complete. I wonder if it's AMD stock being more plentiful, or there's less demand for those CPUs than for the RTX cards, or a bit of both.
Anyway, I'm waiting for a...
Thanks, I will ask them on the chat then.
While we're talking about drives, I have another question — how likely are the M.2 drives to fail, and is it possible to recover data is they do? I plan to install games on the second M.2 partition, and I usually mod games if it's possible, so it'd be a...
When I firstly placed my order, I was asked after clicking proceed to choose the drive on which the OS will be installed, and I chose the M.2 drive. My order went through quite a few amendments since September, including the drives, and after adding a scratch drive it showed me a warning message...
I got that email too and I amended mine to the H115i RGB Platinum just a couple of minutes ago, it did show as greyed out, however it did let me proceed without any warning messages related to the cooler and on the confirmation page it showed with a green dot saying in stock, so the information...
I'm waiting for the 5950, I amended my order right after 2PM so I reckon I should be fairly high in the queue for it if they go by the actual component order date.
My whole build was ordered on the 17th of September at 22:42, then I made some tweaks in October (it was a refunded credit note as...
I changed my build from Intel to AMD via email and that was resolved quickly. They need to know which CPU and motherboard you want, and then they can amend it for you. Did you pay with a card or finance?
To add more detail, they added a sub-order to my account, the same kind of sub-order as...
Just get your wives into gaming, ladies enjoy it too! I spent over 3k on a build and 800 on a monitor... Went with ASUS ROG Strix XG27UQ and stock for these is no better than the 3080, mine is apparently due on the 18th of January.
I wouldn't switch to a different card than what you actually want just based on the wait time. You will be using it for the next 4-5 years before an upgrade (possibly longer if you're fine with tuning settings down in new titles released in 2025 or so), and compared to that time, 1-3 months or...
The configurator worked perfectly for me and I was able to amend my order. Given that the 5950 is still cheaper than the 3950, I also swapped my M.2 drive and all of that only costs £17!

I sorted my change to AMD from Intel via email, it was a few emails and I got a reply within 1-2 working days, so my experience was quick considering that it's an email. They are able to change it, and they need to know which CPU and motherboard you want. Payment method can matter though, I paid...
I know it won't speed anything up or give you an ETA, it's just an example of at least some information that is available. All I'm saying is that seeing a decrease in that number made me think it's related to the movement of the queue recently mentioned in this thread.
I don't care or use social media, however it'd be nice if they had information somewhere on the PCS website about how many cards they have received so far, updated each time they get a delivery. No delivery ETAs, no expected numbers, just simply what they've got so far.
They curretly have a...
The difference in cost wasn't actually that much, especially considering the cost of the whole system (and to be honest I knew absolutely nothing about the pricing of the components so I was ready to spend a bit more than I actually did, so budget-wise it's still fine to do relatively small...
