I am having the same problem. PCS have not diagnosed it yet.
I'm guessing the monitor is hooked up with a DP cable.
Try it with a hdmi cable and see if it still happens.
I believe it's because the Asus motherboard looks for dvi/hdmi first and throws up errors when it cant find one. seconds...
I got the back/side panel sorted. Just needed to spend a bit of time working out what was causing it.
As it happens, not that it is interesting, it was because they had to compromise where the RGB lighting node cables were to avoid them getting in the way of one of the SSD bays, not an issue...
Cheers!
Just to say I am very very happy with case , I was more just pointing these issues out for other people just in case those limitations were of concern :)
I do actually have one small issue - connecting a monitor by DP and not being able to get into the bios (and getting the VGA...
Hi
My new custom built PC arrived last week and I am very happy with it, PCS know how to build a god PC that is for sure.
My use is general workstation with photo and video editing with casual gaming occasional with my kids. I also wanted it to last 6-8 years only needing the odd upgrade...
To be fair I would have thought that budget would get you a gaming pc that would smash 1080p gaming.
I think sometimes its forgotten that although 1080p gaming is seen as entry level it doesnt mean you cant play virtually every game on high setting and have a great fun.
I remember when you...
Last week, it's in testing now. Virtually identical a couple of compromises but I didn't buy the gpu, which would have been almost effectively free in this deal .
I thought I would bump this up for you as posting in the early hours does lead to lost threads!
I'm sure you will get the experts soon, but it's usually better to just get 2 sticks of RAM rather than 4 and it makes upgrading easier. So 2x8b, especially if you end up increasing RAM which you may...
Look at Scott's recommendation on the thread 'Spec for £800" thread a couple below yours. That's the cheapest to sensibly go for via PCS utilising the latest platforms. Any cheaper and a ready built one may be more appropriate.
From what I've watched and read I'm not sure the h115i will fit with rgb ramsticks in that case ,you need low profile RAM . Although they might move the cooler to the front but that has it's own issues.
This is all with the icue case as I've watched a few builds of it on YouTube.
I have a very...
I even managed to get that monitor for £299 on amazon yesterday! it was that price for 5 hours but I had been tracking the price.
'Keepa' Chrome add on app is simply the best thing ever for looking at amazon price history. (basically imbeds a price graph ala camelcamelcamel on every amazon...
I have been looking a lot funnily enough as I wanted a balanced monitor for both gaming and photo editing. That meant an IPS panel and a QHD (1440p - 2k) monitor. I also wanted 144hz, low response time. I ended up with this after a lot of research and that could fit into my budget...
After viewing these forums for a couple of weeks researching, and then getting superb advice from the experts on here, you start to learn quickly and I had a chuckle when I saw your post as I can now imagine exactly what the mods are going to say..... Waste of a such a high spec on that...
