My new system that I got back in early august has the TUF Gaming B550 motherboard and has a BIOS version that is from 20/05/2020.
Given it is a relatively new board I can see from ASUS’ site that they have released several updates (5 since my current version), some which are supposed to improve...
Thanks a lot. How about a 1080p 144hz monitor? - would it be worth the upgrade with my existing GPU or am I better off waiting a bit and upgrading GPU and Monitor together later on?

I have recently received my new PCS system and really happy with it so far.
I use it primarily for gaming with a 1080P 60hz monitor which I have so far been very happy with. However, having seen my mates new 1440P 144mhz monitor in action it made me realise how much better it looks...
Mine has gone back slightly to the 22nd July now but still well within the original estimate, which is great. Most of the waiting is hopefully already done now :)
If it helps give a rough idea of timeline, I ordered mine on the 23rd June and my current estimated build date is Monday 20th July, which hopefully means delivery later on that week.
It does seem that PCS are getting through their backlog as my first estimate was Friday 31st July but got...
To be honest I had not really given too much thought to the case but primarily picked it because it is white like my monitor and office desk. Given the case will be on the floor (and out of sight) I will probably go for Fractal Design Meshify C as suggested.
