Oh, I never thought about a 3070Ti! I did check Amazon quickly and there was an Asus TUF going for £525.36 and a 4070 MSI going for £529.98 (I don't know about the name brand tbf), so they're pretty much the same price point, would you still recommend going with the 3070Ti?
Thanks for the...
Hello, my sibling wants my current 2070 Super and is offering to buy me a new GPU in the next month or two, just wondering if I should get a 3070 or a chip in a bit and get a 4070.
I currently use my PC for gaming; mainly Baldur's Gate 3, Overwatch 2, Assassin's Creed, Elder Ring, FFXIV and...
As I thought, I already sent one last night just to be safe. Off topic, but I also noticed some coil whine with the GPU. Can't pretend I'm not a little disappointed, but oh well.. Thanks for your advice. guys.
I ran the test for a few minutes and it stayed between 60-70c, I also noticed that the cooler clicks a lot - is that usual for AIOs? I really hope I don't have to get this RMA. :(
EDIT: I've since installed FFXIV and I've also noticed the fans speed keeps increasing, the temp reached to 81 for...
It does seem like it's doing something, though it's very little - the CPU percentage ranges for 1~4% when I'm not doing anything. I guess I should wait a few days and see what happens?
My room is quite warm, but I'm guessing a majority of the heat is coming from the PC itself as I don't have any other appliances on right now. As for testing, not really sure if you mean if I've played a game or done any benchmarking but no, I haven't done either of those things yet.
Hello, so I just received my PC and I've done all the necessary updates.. but I've noticed my temp seems a little high on idle, especially with having a h100x fitted. Shouldn't it be 30-40 on idle? It hasn't dipped from 40, ranges between 40-60c and it will occasionally spike to 70.
I'm not...
Heh, turns out I was just being impatient. 🤭

Guess I better start backing up all my files to move over to my new PC!
Hm, I thought testing was supposed to only take less than 24 hours? Mine has been testing for a little that. I wonder if it's worth emailing or am I just being impatient (probably the latter)
Mine's gone into testing today, too:

Doubt it'll be ready by tomorrow and I'm expecting a new desk so I don't mind if it arrives Wednesday or Thursday.
I've been lurking the forums and I'm pleased you for you all. My build day has been delayed three times now; from the 11th, to the 14th and now the 17th. Can't pretend I'm happy about it, I hope I won't have to go through another delay.. 😕
Hi again! Soooo turns out that case and cooler I picked out are now out of stock so I've made some changes and I'll be placing my order later today. Just wanted to double check if everything is good to go before I do.
Case
Send In Your Own Case I'll be going with the Corsair iCUE 465X RGB...
Just a quick (and maybe daft) question, if I were to say, get a Corsair H100x Hydro, would it fit in the build okay? Just want to make sure before I wrap this up for good and if I decide to go with that instead of the other AIO.
That sounds great! The editing is quite minimal as it's a more of a hobby than work related, so yes that'll do. Thank you very much for your advice and speedy response! ☺
Thank you for the speedy response! I've been eyeing this monitor here : https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-GB2760QSU-B1-G-Master-Adjustable-FreeSync/dp/B07J37NY8X/ so maybe that would help? I may be able to get it next month, it depends on my finance. I'm a little clueless as far as monitors are...
