Thanks for your thoughts. I was using a Logitech keyboard connected to a unifying receiver previously. A key press would always wake the PC without fail. Unfortunately, I just can't achieve the same with my new Microsoft Surface keyboard connected directly to the PC's Bluetooth.

Thanks for your comments. I have solved this issue by enabling SVM in the BIOS. The Core Isolation settings are now available. I thought I'd post this solution in case it helps anyone else.

I don't want to limit myself to this monitor though. I was hoping the XT would work well with my existing monitor and a 4K monitor if I were to upgrade in the future. Looks like that's not the case if I would be forced to use Vsync with my existing monitor.
