Hi guys,
First new PC for many a year and I'm trying to hit the sweet spot between budget/power. Will primarily be used for gaming but also some occasional work stuff which will need a degree of processing power. Would appreciate some input from people much more knowledgeable than I on whether this build would be okay and if there is anything I'm paying for I don't particularly need. I do feel a bit uneasy not going for an Intel processor so would appreciate some reassurance in that regard too!
I'm kind of at the ceiling of what I'd be happy spending but do have some flexibility if you think there's a lot more bang I can get for my buck. I'll be using a rather dated monitor to start with but plan on getting a proper one in the coming months, so if anyone has any recommendations on that and/or if there's anything I could save a couple of hundred £ on so I could throw one in with this build?
Also plan on upgrading in the future so would be good to know that this will give me the flexibility to do so without major overhauls.
