Have decided on ordering next payday after Christmas but I have a question.
I configured two computers as similar as I could one in the intel 'home office' section and one in the '3rd gen' section. The only difference is the motherboard which i know nothing about And the RAM is samsung only in the cheaper one but from what I read that's not noticeable really.
£70 Price difference quite significant.
Is the motherboard a big performance changer if all else is equal?
Does the RAM brand/speed difference matter to someone like me?
I won't be adding a second graphics card or changing anything else.
Just for basic gaming (some civ and other pc only titles things like that) and your normal office stuff. Want it to be quick enough to last a few years on that basis but nothing special.
Any help on actual differences between the two would be appreciated!
Budget around £700 mark but slightly flexible - from my other posts it is creeping up each time!
