Hello recently put in an order for a 3060 to and am on a waiting list. I recently booked and the item is no longer listed as pre order. Does this mean I'm no longer in a queue? Slightly confused, any help appreciated. Thanks in advance
You will still be in a queue with others who ordered at the same time. If its no longer listed as pre-order it could be the case that PCS believe they have sufficient stock to meet all of the current and 'near-future' (until the next delivery of stock) order demands for example.
So essentially, you're just waiting in the 'build queue' now I'd guess. I don't know this for a fact, but its how I would interpret the situation you're in.
Maybe? Depends if there are any Asus 3060's in stock and your position in the queue etc.
I'd assume it would if it were me, because you're currently getting "any" 3060 that is available at the time your order goes into building. Whereas if you select the Asus model you're getting 'the ASUS model' ... so (in my mind at least) there's bound to be fewer of these going around. Of course, that's totally anecdotal and I've no real evidence for it, but it makes sense to me and its certainly how I'd think.
No one here is going to be able to give you an accurate answer to this unfortunately you'd need to contact PCS directly and even then they might not be able to either (it could be dependent on your overall queue position etc.).
