3080 Issues

Hello,

My order is currently in pre production and I have ordered a 3080 card but recently there have been issues with the gpu crashing.

If I get crashes with the 3080 who will replace/repair the gpu pc specialist or the manufacturer?

Anyone else who has or are waiting for their 3080 are you having any problems?

HI,

I order mine on release and was worried about this recently. I found the link below helped.


I doubt they will replace a card because the manufactures will release an update effectivly undrrclocking the gpu. Thats what i have gathered from sources anyway.

People have been using MSI to underclock by like 50 and it seems to fix the issue. Its about the boost clock when it reaches a certain figure.

If you find anythign else let me know.

It seems that the boost to 2.0ghz and above is too high for what is needed anyway?

I dont mind underclocking the gpu as the performance should still be greater than the 2080ti?

Apparently anything higher than 1710 is overclock.

I will get the card and see what happens.

Yeah it should destory a 2080ti, and its so much cheaper. Value is amazing.

Lets hope we can all get one soonm. Im waiting 2 weeks, just low on stock, but i hear they are starting to get deliverys in every week now.
