Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my charger from a 220W to 330W as I suspect my machine is drawing more power than can be supplied due to the charger behaving erraticly when I run high spec games.

I checked with the PC Specialist team and they don't have a compatible charger for sale so I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a compatible charger in the UK?

Thank you,

is this a pcspecialist system? Can you paste your full specs from the order page? PCS wouldn't have sold it with an underpowered charger.

The spec is:
So device ports have a set power rating determined by the port. Thats all factored into the PSU rating.

If connecting those devices is causing a power short it’s because there’s a physical problem with the power delivery circuit on the laptop.

Just because you connect a power supply that supplies more wattage has no effect on what the system is going to draw, that’s set by the power supply of the chassis itself. The reason PCS don't stock one is because it doesn't exist.

You’d need an RMA
