The Budget is what it is, I'll be using this with a 4K colour Calibrated monitor @ 60hz. I'm absolutely loathed to change this. I use lightroom classic, 30k of Raw files, Photoshop, and I'm learning DaVinci Studio. I play games at 1440 resolution at the moment Doom 2016, Wolfenstein. Half life 2, Sniper ghost warrior, Call of Duty. All at please don't hurt me campaigns. I'm 65 So I'm looking at this as possibly one final blast of youth. Please keep this from her that should be obeyed. Could you comment on its balance and long term future as in terms of up grade

Couple of notes:

Do you have any particular needs for that motherboard? It's quite pricey and I can't imagine you getting too much out of it past what the non-E offerings.
I would drop the thermal paste. The stock paste is fine.
Do you need/want the LCD cooler option? Just in case you weren't intentionally choosing the LCD one, there are cheaper ones with the same performance.
You've added an expansion card. Not sure if this was intentional? There are a slew of ports available as standard.
Professional Windows, again are you certain you need this? There are cases but there's not a lot in it.

Past that the GPU/Monitor choice is up to yourself. It's not the route I would go down but it sounds like it's a good panel for the professional uses even if it's not so great for gaming. I'm surprised you've been satisfied gaming at 1440p on a 4k panel. It doesn't divide well so would often look washed out or screened. Better to play at 1080p for a more even divide.

You could get a second monitor, a 1440p one, aimed at gaming. This would give you the best of both worlds with additional screen space for the editing software uses.

Below would be with the aforementioned savings. I've bumped up the PSU as it's a belt and braces choice. If you get into heavier gaming, or upgrade the GPU down the line, it may call for more power to keep the headroom. The 1000w offering is more efficient etc anyway so will be cheaper to run overall.

I also switched the case over. It's one of the best I've worked on and has a similar look to what you are after. For the money I don't think there's anything on the market better for form/function. If you have a strong preference for the other case there is nothing wrong with it, but just putting together what I would be most likely to pull the trigger on personally if in your shoes.

£275 would get you a very good 1440p gaming monitor. If you want to spend more you could dip into OLED at around the £500 mark but I don't know if there's a need for you to go that high.
