Hi. I've had my pc nearly a year and want to get 2 additional ram sticks for my computer. I have corsair vengeance 3600 2 x 8gb so I would like to get 2 more. Should I buy them from PC specialist and how do I do this. Also how would I install them on the computer system, in the bios etc?

What are you using the PC for, are you often using all of your RAM? Adding more if you don't use it all won't actually increase performance (just as a note)

If you are running into memory limits, I would indeed recommend getting them from PC Specialist. They have a fantastic upgrade system that you can access by logging into your account then clicking "Upgrade your existing PC Specialist computer" then selecting the same ram from the RAM dropdown. You shouldn't need to do anything in BIOS providing they're the same sticks as before

Hi thanks. I use my pc for gaming and websurfing streaming etc not sure if I use all the ram or how to check but have noticed programme's are a bit slower to open in the last few months. Also when I built pc I just got 2 ram sticks to save money , do you think it's OK to use the rgb corsair vengeance rather than the ordinary corsair vengeance ?

You'll almost certainly find that RAM is not your limiting factor for the work you're describing. It's an easy upgrade, but probably not one that willl gain you all that much.

Can you post your full system specification? The other thing I'd suggest is opening up Task Manager, going to the Performance tab at the top, opening a program that you're finding slow, then taking a screenshot of Task Manager. That would probably indicate where your issues are coming from, or at least suggest where to start.
