Advice on what laptop to buy for my needs

Hi all, I am in the market for a laptop to be able to work on the go. I have a powerful desktop PC that I built myself, but with a lot of guidance from a friend who had built similar - he basically told me what to buy and I put it together. I work from home so would need something that could remote into my desktop and run smoothly. The work is mostly based around web browsers and excel. The legwork would mostly be done by the desktop. I'm not interested in using the laptop for gaming, would solely just be for working on the go and/or remoting into my desktop to work that way. Also for the odd netflix episode :D I have no idea what sort of thing to go for so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all in advance, Charlie.

There are complications with Intel CPUs having been found defective, it’s just not worth buying anything Intel.

The only AMD option PCS currently stock in the office arena is this one, but it starts at £710 before any configuration
