Hmm, I uninstalled all drivers and re-installed, ran the bench again and still get the same message.

I’m on the 25.5.1 WHQL driver from May 8

The additional big announcement which Nvidia should be extra wary of is FSR Redstone set to be released this summer which includes

Machine Learning Ray Regeneration
Machine Learning Frame Gen
Neural Radiance Caching

With what a stark improvement FSR 4 has been over even 3.1, this really could potentially put AMD hardware ray tracing and upscaling very much on par with Nvidia.

I expect first iterations will not be that great, but as we’ve seen with Freesync and now FSR 4, AMD tend to come late into a new bandwagon, but they do tend to catch up and equalise fairly quickly.

RX9000 series are looking more and more appealing both from value, provisioning, performance and stability

I truly think this is the AMD generation that could be their break back into serious competition like Ryzen 5000 was, being just a bit behind in performance but dominating in value and futureproofing, even though they called off the high end target entirely.

The comparison between Intel with 11th gen vs Ryzen 5000 and now with NVidia off the back of their worst launch ever both from performance and their destruction of the brand image is quite frankly freaky.

Hopefully they've been burned enough with their poor release strategy and price greed that they now treat the market/customers fairly also.

It's the only blemish on AMD at the moment. Their products are great, but they need to make sure corporate greed and manipulation doesn't become their mantra as well.

Yeah 100%, they have mimicked Nvidia strategy with this GPU series far more than anyone can allow them to get away with. MSRP should be what entry level units are sold at for the long term, any discounts applied at launch are OFF MSRP, you can’t have a tiny amount at a discount on launch and then call that MSRP, it’s egregiously offensive to the community

Bonus points to the man who just said egregiously, you don’t hear that word anywhere near often enough. Definitely in my top ten.
I don't use long words anymore as it takes too long to explain them to those with an under-developed intellect and institutionalised failure of critical thinking.

Antidisestablishmentarianism

Wot? Is that the stuff matron puts on your cuts?

(ok, the matron reference is likely rather entitled as well as seriously out of date, no idea what a school nurse is called these days, probably don’t have them!)
