looks like a sound build although I would have not have had the anti-virus software installed

Other than that for the price i think you got great value for money there

Indeed. The price of £800 for a 17" laptop with a 1080p matte (!) screen, an Intel i7-3610QM CPU, 8 GBs of RAM, a high performing 7200 RPM WD HDD with 750 GB capacity & a GTX 660M is something only Clevo, and PCSpecialist as their reseller, can match.
