BD-R DL external drive suggestions?

I'm not entirely sure.
It doesn't specifically say it will.
The formatting in the specs isn't great, but I believe is says '4XBD-RDL' in the product description at the bottom, which I'm assuming means '4x BD-R DL'...

Bus-powered, slimline devices tend to have slower burning speeds than the heavier, mains-powered devices. Possibly due to power requirements, but also the extra weight helps with dampening vibrations which may affect the read/write tracking.

Yes, I believe you're right.
The only issue being that it ships from China and I don't like rolling the dice on additional charges.

Do you know of any similar products that are sold within the UK?

Those ones in the Scan link are sent from Scan.co.uk in Bolton...but EVERYTHING will ultimately come from China (or similar)...and buy buying 'locally' you're paying for the profits of the component manufacturer, the brand name manufacturer, UK distributor and UK reseller. That's why a branded product from a UK seller will cost more than a AI-generated white label device direct from the component manufacturer/assembler China.
