If both are for the same event (check the date and time stamp) then only the kernel dump is needed (Memory.dmp). Upload it to the cloud with a link to it here (it will be way too large to upload directly to here).

I'd upload both of the,, although the memory.dmp is the more complete one...the mini-dump is liek a snapshot
Yeah just syncing the memory dump now but it’s quite large then I’ll upload. Just looked online at the error code and can sometimes be to do with the motherboard. I looked at my device manager and there are tonnes of files in my system devices with multiple duplicates, is that normal?

It depends what devices they are. I just looked at Device Manager on mine as I also have a 3600 and the duplicates are Human Interface Devices (there are numerous listed the same there although they likely relate to different things), IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers (no clue what they are); Processors (obviously related to the CPU); System Devices (various) and Universal Serial Bus controllers (USB ports).

Those are the areas with different entries listed with the same names...that is from a system that is working perfectly and had a fresh Windows
Thank you, my computer has been blue screening on and off since I received it could go weeks without getting one then get multiple.Would these issues quantify me getting a refund if I spoke with PC specialist I’ve only had my computer since August and I have a years warranty. I’m just not the best technically and wasn’t aware of the amount of up keep for a PC which is my own fault really although I suspect the blue screens should never have been appearing at all through no fault of my own.

BSODs are caused by software (usually drivers) about 95% of the time and by hardware failures only about 5% of the time.

Always suspect software with almost any BSOD - and always suspect driver error too! :)

Does this mean they wouldn’t give me a refund if I contact them? Even if they’ve been happening from the beginning and I’ve posted on here a few times about getting them. It’s just been quite frustrating and not sure I want to continue with a pc in general after the trouble I’ve had. Their service has been perfect but I’ve tried multiple things to fix the errors in the 6 months with only short term joy

A refund is at the discretion of PCS...they will usually want to check it/repair before a refund

I just wanted to double check as I was too lazy to go through your previous thread given how lengthy it got!

1) Norton is not installed and you just have Defender?
2) You have previously done GPU driver uninstalls with DDU?
3) You have also tried a full Windows reinstall from bootable USB?

Hopefully Ubuysa can glean something from the DMP files, well, once your slow internet allows you to link the main one anyway!
Yeah to all three. Yeah everyone on these forums has been a great help and I’ve no issues with PC specialist just sort of dawned on me at this point that the issues I’ve been having are far beyond my capabilities. When I bought it I was probably stupidly assuming everything was going to be straight forward with no issues and that’s the reason I bought a custom PC as I wouldn’t have a clue how to do is from scratch. Suppose I could always contact them and see what they say. Is I it on better to call or email would you recommend?

You can buy an off-the-shelf system and have the same problems...the first Windows PC I ever bought way back in 1999 had random BSODs from day one which PC World could never replicate...it took me slamming my fist down on it after one BSOD too many (which stopped it working completely) for their mobile call-out person to diagnose a motherboard fault (neglected to mention my rage moment of course!)...motherboard duly replaced and it worked flawlessly after.

Ring or email? Phoning them would be the best option as you get to speak to someone in real-time...downside is you could be on hold for a couple of hours which can be expensive if not on a call-inclusive call plan....best to dial just before 9am and then just keep hitting redial till they open. Email: No holding, no cost but can take up to a week for a response.

I would definitely upload and link that memory.dmp file though..you never know..it may contain something simple to fix
Yeah absolutely got a few people streaming things at home so the downloads still on going then I’ll pop it in.

It's still going???? Oh....my...word....the Dial-Up on my old computers 20 years ago seem like being faster than your internet  Are you on a remote desert island somewhere where you are uploading via carrier pigeon or something?
Just where I live it’s the best WiFi we can get unfortunately the upload speed leaves a lot to be desired😂

Nobody on here will know, we don't work for PCS. I would suspect however that you'd need to show good evidence that the problem was hardware related before they would consider it.

Great, thanks. I'll take a look tomorrow morning. :)

Edit: There is no file there...and what the 1drv.ms file? The file should be memory.dmp.
I think the 1drv.ms is because I uploaded it from one drive. Is there nothing there when you attempt to open?

Yep, that's the kernel dump. Thanks!

It's an interesting one, I love these rare stop codes they make a change from the more common ones. This is a KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE stop code and that will take a bit of explaining. Locks are a serialisation technique used in many operating systems, a lock (an area of storage) protects a specific resource (usually tables or control blocks) to ensure that only one thread is manipulating the resource at a time. A lock is obtained by a thread, the necessary work is done and the lock released. Locks are only ever held for as short a time as possible because they are a bottleneck of course. I don't know what 'autoboost' is regarding locks and I can't find any details at present, but it seems to be a feature that tracks the usage of locks - possibly to ensure they are held only for the shortest time possible. This bug check happened because autoboost detected that a thread other than the one that is holding the lock released it - or (more likely) a thread attempted to release a lock that it didn't hold. Whichever it is this is a software error and, as ever with BSODs it's most likely a device driver error.

The dump dropped straight onto the offender, the process in control at the time of the bug check was nvcontainer.exe, a component of the Nvidia graphics driver. The list of driver calls made by the active thread also shows an error for nvlddmkm.sys - the Nvidia graphics driver.

Code:
ffffdb07`72b1b028 fffff804`39e0052d Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_d67c20d727d4578c\nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
 nvlddmkm+0x1c052d

I see that you've done a clean install of Windows since you first saw this error - did you allow WIndows Update to install all drivers it could find? Did you then install the Nvidia graphics driver manually from the Nvidia website? And, most importantly, did you install the AMD chipset drivers? I suspect not, so download and install the AMD driver support tool and use that to install the AMD chipset drivers. That may well be the problem here.

I did the clean install of windows a while back when I was previously getting the errors. Then I reinstalled my graphics card after another blue screen and I was having issues after the last clean install which was caused by the chipsets which someone sent me the link to which I also installed.

@Sweep695 Have you done a clean Windows install? Just asking as Ubuysa noted you had but I can't see anything about it in your posts...though I haven't long been up so may have missed it.

If you haven't, then we'd suggest a clean Windows install from USB...even though PCS install, configure and test Windows, it's possible their testing didn't highlight a Windows fault somewhere which only became apparent when you started using it. You can download the WIndows iso Here If possible, best to download and install to the USB on a separate computer that is known not to have issues.
I did a clean install a while back which then started causing me more blue screens. I don’t have any other devices to download the ISO from unfortunately this PC is all I have. As I said this has been happening on and off from the day and hour I’ve got it and It’s just really frustrating as I’ve no idea what I’m doing with it and I’ve tried everything people have suggested to me
