Hey!

I'm currently using a vortex 17 laptop with GTX 1070 SLI (Don't ask) and it's time to say goodbye.

Ideally the budget would be capped at £2500 but I'm open to recommendation(s) if need be.

I have x2 MSI MPG 321URX 4K OLED's and would continue to use them with the desktop.

It'll be mainly for gaming.

Is this config good or does it need changes? (new windows license as the laptop will be passed on for use)

Looks pretty good to me. There are only 2 things I would consider. For the PSU the 1000w offering should be a no brainer. It's not a lot more cash and it'll cover any future upgrades you want to do with the system. 850w is bang on for the 5070Ti but if you wanted to go higher we would always recommend more power. Ignore any comments from the configurator it doesn't take into account future use or maximum TDP output etc.

Secondly is the GPU. I know it will take you over budget but the 5080 has to be considered with a 4k monitor IMO. If your gaming needs aren't particularly fast paced then the Ti is a great choice. If you're looking to make the most of the panel you will want the extra grunt from the 5080.

One other tiny thing to consider is the cooler. There isn't a lot of difference in price for the larger coolers so I would probably opt for the 360mm option where available and it fits. Vs the 240 there's no down side and only has more cooling potential. If you want the quietest option then the 280mm should be considered.
