Build Configure Please

Hey everyone i ended up waiting to get a pc from a post I made months ago (bad choice since things where in stock) so I’m just asking for a new config my budget is around £1600 but can be pushed a little I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and the build itself is going to be used almost completely for gaming. I’d prefer if I could have a 3070 or a 3060-ti but with stock i doubt I would get the machine unless I’m waiting around 3 months so if there’s something similar that would be great! if you need more information feel free to ask.
fyi the games i play are somewhat simple, Minecraft, stardew valley, overwatch, wow. Etc

Hi Auroria, the worst part about waiting isn't just the availability but the prices have also sky rocketed. You would have gotten much more for your money 3 months ago as well.

This is the best I could come up with for a 1440p build but I'm still over your budget, you could always drop the GPU and try to source one elsewhere though.

I am able to just barely fit that into my budget however with the gpu being pre-order how long could it take before I’d actually see the machine itself, also correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the B550-plus come with WiFi if so is the card necessary?

There is a B550 Plus that comes with Wifi yes but that particular one doesn't I believe.

As for how long would it take? I've no idea, it's really how long is a piece of string at the minute.

As @Steveyg says, there are versions of the B550 that come with WiFi but that isn't one of them. We could trim the spec on the storage side of things and you could always add another M.2 drive in at a later date...

I currently have a build thats available to me now with a Ryzen 7 5800x, 3070 and standard stuff like 16gb ram only up to 2666mhz though with a ASUS prime B55m-a motherboard I’m not aware of the motherboard so I dont know if it’s good it also only has 480 m.2 ssd and no hdd but it’d be easier for me to just upgrade that later would this system be good or a curse in disguise?

**edit cooling is also the cooler master 120L rbg water cooler also unknown to me

In that case no comment 😶 oops lol well honestly the build agent has made seems good and from the forums about the 6700xt waiting times are much quicker than I expected with around 3-4ish weeks so i would be more than happy to wait that
